After the Deep Horizon Oil rig explosion in the Gulf on April 20, the Gulf Coast is slowly turning into a dead zone with seemingly no help from our government. Americans are fed misinformation by BP, and Gulf residents are fearful to speak about the situation. The reporters in the Gulf have been stripped of their First Amendment rights, being threatened with prison or fines if they pursue the story.
